About Me

Hello, my name is Kaelee, and welcome to Bright Beginnings Childminding in SE14, New Cross. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and DBS checked, with a range of transferable skills, including a First-Class Psychology degree specialising in child development, as well as Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training. I regularly complete additional training to continue developing my knowledge and ensure I provide the highest standard of care and early years support.

As a mum of three children aged 11, 9, and 2, I have hands-on experience supporting children through different stages of development. I also have experience supporting children with SEND, which has strengthened my understanding of individual needs and the importance of inclusive, child-centred care.

My childminding model was generously shared and has since been thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of families from all walks of life, including students, working-class families, and parents with varying schedules and commitments. I understand the realities of modern family life and aim to offer a flexible, supportive service that helps parents balance work, study, and home life with confidence and peace of mind.

My setting is a self-contained venue exclusively used for childminding, carefully arranged and maintained to meet the needs of the children in my care. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel happy, supported, and confident to learn and grow through play, routine, and positive relationships.

At Bright Beginnings Childminding, I believe every child is unique and deserves a safe, stimulating environment where curiosity is celebrated and growth is nurtured. I provide warm, home-like care that supports children’s confidence, independence, creativity, and wellbeing, while encouraging early years development through play and personalised learning experiences. By working closely with parents and building strong, trusting partnerships, I ensure every child receives the support, encouragement, and care they need to thrive.
